Groundhog Technologies has further extended its end-to-end capabilities with a new core probing solution. As a geolocation provider, Groundhog has plethora of experience integrating with various core probing vendors to provide deep end-to-end (E2E) analysis for DPI, E2E call trace, etc, and now Groundhog has expanded its E2E capabilities with a new core probe in order to monitor VoLTE calls.
CovMo™, as a RAN geolocation solution, can already see the eRAB and wireless quality of calls. However, without additional information from the core network, it is difficult to see the voice quality, call establishment, and termination of VoLTE calls. On the other hand, from a core perspective, they can see the VoLTE call experience but cannot differentiates if the trouble call is related to radio wireless quality or not. By stitching the RAN and Core network data, CovMo™ is now able to provide an E2E VoLTE analysis to give a complete view for monitoring and troubleshooting VoLTE calls. The integration new solution helps unify the data under one platform to make it more user friendly and helps the engineer to quickly identify where any issues occurred.
